Why we are building Synq.
Synq is made by Aerosol. Every product we built needed the same sign-in: wallets next to social accounts and email, several brands under one company, and AI agents acting for people, without handing our users to someone else’s login screen. Nothing we tried did all of it on open standards, so we are building it, for businesses like yours.
How we decide
Four principles.
Open standards first
OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 are the contract. Your code can verify Synq’s tokens with any library that follows the standards, and our SDKs will only ever be conveniences on top.
A brand is the unit
Most companies ship more than one product. Each brand gets its own issuer, users, apps and sign-in, and one org holds them all.
No shortcuts on security
Exact redirect URIs, PKCE everywhere, rotating tokens and hashed secrets, with no exceptions for anyone, our own products included.
Agents are first-class
CLIs, AI agents and MCP hosts sign people in through the same issuer, and every token says who acted for whom.
Where Synq is today
Synq is pre-launch. Its issuer, the apps and APIs that use it, the management API, webhooks and the audit log are built and tested. Hosted sign-in themes, wallet and social sign-in, passkeys, the dashboard and the SDKs are being built now.
Aerosol’s own products will sign in through Synq the same way yours will: as ordinary customers, through the same public API, with no special access. The product page lists every part and whether it is built.
